It consists of aminomethylcoumarin (AMCA; ex/em max = 350/450 nm) conjugated with phalloidin , a mycotoxin that binds F-actin. Phalloidin-AMCA conjugate is used in fixed and permeabilized tissue sections, cell cultures, or cell-free experiments.
